『maimai PLUS』から収録された、東京ジョイポリスのデジタリアルアトラクション「HALFPIPE TOKYO」のナンバーです。アーティスト名となっている“loos feat. Meramipop”の“loos”は、この曲の作曲者である音楽担当のrippleさんと、動画担当のAQuiさん、イラスト担当のえれっとさんにより、2005年に結成された映像系の同人サークルです。「Starlight Disco」では、東方アレンジ楽曲の歌姫としても有名なMeramipopさんをボーカリストとして起用。loosの魅力とMeramipopさんの魅力が融合した、華やかな1曲になっています。

たくさんのギミックが仕掛けられた楽曲も魅力満点。ラジオボイス風のカウントダウンから始まるころナンバーは、ボーカロイドを彷彿とさせるエフェクタブルなボーカルも聴きどころ。伸びやかなメロディーを引き立てます。

もちろん「Starlight Disco」のPVには、えれっとさんのイラストもフィーチャー。可愛いマスコットを連れ、SFテイスト全開のサイバースペースで歌うディス子ちゃんの姿に目も癒されます。
