Tenkaichi otogesai (天下一音ゲ祭) were a series of collaboration tournament in Japan involving music games from KONAMI, SEGA, TAITO, and BANDAI NAMCO. In most of these tournaments, one or more tournament songs were crossed over to other participant games.

This event could only be played at AOU member arcades in Japan. Players could register at an arcade to play one of the participant games. The whole country is divided into several Blocks, each of which would include many arcades, and a Qualifying Round was held in each arcade to determinate a champion. Then, the champion of each arcade competed against the other champions of the Block, and the winner of each Block later competed in a National tournament against the each Block champion.

If a major version upgrade happened during the tournament, the tournament would continue to be held in the new version.

Each participating game has an existing song chosen as the Qualifying Round songs, and a newly-written song as the Block Tournament songs. All 8 songs, 7 of which were new to each game, are available in all games.
