  • きたさいたま2000 originates from Bandai Namco's 太鼓の達人 ぽ〜たぶる2 as the boss song in that game. This is alluded to by its internal name, psplsb (PSP last boss).
  • きたさいたま2000's lyrics refer to the now-defunct Kita Saitama district (北埼玉郡) located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, and its three towns, Otone, Kitakawabe, and Kisai. The district and all of its towns were since merged into the city of Kazo in 2010.
  • きたさいたま2000 was added to maimai ORANGE on October 29th, 2014 for AOU arcades, as a Qualifying Round song of the first 天下一音ゲ祭 event.
