Song Introduction
1994年11月22日に発売され、『バーチャファイター2』や『サクラ大戦』といった名作ゲームを世に送り出したセガのゲーム機・セガサターン。その起動音を大胆にフィーチャーしたのが、この曲です。リミックスは、『maimai』サウンドディレクターでもあるHiro師匠が手がけています。
元々は、2013年4月1日にエイプリルフールのネタとして、ニコニコ動画の『maimai』公式チャンネルにアップされた動画（起動音のみで、わずか12秒！）ですが、あまりの反響の大きさから、正式にアレンジ曲として収録されることになったという、ちょっと変わった経緯をたどっています。
楽曲中では、何度も繰り返し使われている電源投入時のジングルに加え、跳ねるようなビートの中に、CDドアのオープン音と、ドアーオープン時の警告音が効果的にに散りばめられていて、当時サターンを触ったことがある人ならば、思わず熱い気持ちが蘇ることでしょう。
PVにはもちろん、起動時のCG映像が使われており、メニュー画面で見られる宇宙船が登場するところも見どころです。
Released on November 22, 1994, Sega Saturn is a game console with infamous games such as Virtua Fighter 2 and Sakura Wars. This song boldly features the start-up sound of Sega Saturn, and it's done by Master Hiro, who is the sound director of maimai.
The origin of this song is a video (only the startup sound, only 12 seconds long!) uploaded to the official channel of maimai on Nico Nico Douga as an April Fool's Day joke on April 1, 2013, which the response was magnitude so it was decided to include an official arrangement of it in the game, which follows a slightly different procedure of adding songs.
In the song, in addition to the boot-up jingle when Sega Saturn is turned on, which is used over and over again, the opening sound of the CD door and the warning sound when the door is opened are also scattered around the bouncing beat. If you've ever touched Sega Saturn at the time, Your nostalgia passion will be ignited again.
Of course, the CG animation which is the boot screen of Sega Saturn is being used for the PV (background video), and also the spacecraft-shaped main menu.

エイプリルフールのネタとしてセガサターン起動音だけのプレイ動画をアップしたところあまりにも反響があったので、だったらこの『セガサターン起動音Remix』を実際に入れたら面白いんじゃないの？って軽いノリで入ったのがこの曲です。
このRemix曲は元々「せがた三四郎劇場feat.藤岡弘、＆セガサウンドユニット [H.]～真面目に遊ばぬ奴らに喝！～」という濃いセガ信者が集る[H.]ライブでの出囃子（メンバーがステージに出てくる曲）として作ったもの。セガサターン祭りなのでやはりここはセガサターンの音を使った何かを作らなきゃと、あの起動音を採用して出来たのがこの曲である。起動音だけだと間が持たなかったので「CD入ってないよ」的なエラー音も混ぜて使ってるけど、勢いだけで作ったRemixにしては完成度が高いw こういうノリで作る曲って迷いが無い分勢いがあるので聞いていて清々しいw なかなか良曲に仕上がってます。お陰でmaimaiにセガ信者の方たちが増えたとか増えないとか…。
とにかく喜んで頂けたようで何よりです！
