「ネコ日和。」に続く動物シリーズ第二弾の、わんこ視点で歌われるハッピーチューン。キュートだったりコミカルだったり、可愛らしい犬の写真がたくさん散りばめられたPVは、見ているだけでも心が癒されますが、見とれてしまいプレイに影響が出るとの声もしばしば。

この曲の作詞を手がけたのは、セガの『ポカスカゴースト』などのゲームに声優として出演したり、『龍が如く2』では挿入歌「神室雪月花」の歌唱も手がけた陽季想さん。歌詞はわんこの日常が、優しく描かれています。そして作曲・アレンジは、『龍が如く』シリーズなどにも楽曲を提供しているセガのRYOHEI KOHNOこと興野亮平さんが担当。飛び跳ねるようなリズムとキラキラとしたシンセサイザーサウンドが飛び交う明るくハッピーな曲調は、幸せなわんこのストーリーをますます楽しいものに彩っています。

犬の鳴き声も随所にフィーチャーされた「犬日和。」は森綾香さんのキュートな歌声で魅力を倍增しています。2014年4月1日だけ、エイプリルフール企画として一日限定の“はっぴーちゃん”ボーカルバージョンが『maimai GreeN PLUS』に登場しました。

動物シリーズの第2弾としていただきましたお題は「犬」。

個人的には猫派な興野ですが、この時だけはご主人様を思う真っ直ぐ（？）な犬の気持ちになって制作させていただきました。

『犬日和。』は曲先で、後から歌詞をつけていただく作り方でしたが、曲中のワンちゃん鳴き声やスペースシャトルの効果音は出来上がってきた陽季想さんの歌詞を見てからこっそり追加させていただきました。

森綾香さんのとってもキュートな歌声もバッチリはまった本楽曲。

気に入っていただけましたらワンちゃんホームビデオのBGMにも是非！
