- Brain Power originally appeared in KONAMI's arcade game SOUND VOLTEX II -infinite infection-. It was first made available on June 5th, 2013, and was removed on March 28th, 2017. This was done due to its surprise popularity causing NOMA to cancel the contract with KONAMI in order to allow for more widespread distribution of the song.
- Brain Power is one of the first songs created for the SOUND VOLTEX series to be added to maimai after their removal, along with 進め！イッスン軍団 -Rebellion of the Dwarfs- (which was added to maimai MiLK PLUS in the same update).
- Brain Power was added to maimai MiLK PLUS on July 3rd, 2018.
- In the maimai series (except Asian English versions), CHUNITHM prior to CHUNITHM NEW, and オンゲキ bright MEMORY, Brain Power's artist is written as ノマ.
- Brain Power's appearance in maimai contains several allusions to KONAMI and the SOUND VOLTEX series:
- The maximum theoretical score of its MASTER difficulty is 573000.
- Obtaining a FULL COMBO on its EXPERT difficulty unlocks a title, "mai騎士". This is a play on "魔騎士" (maxi), the title/rank earned by clearing SKILL ANALYZER Level.09 courses in SOUND VOLTEX.
