Collections (コレクション) are customization elements that can be bought with in-game currencies, or obtained by completing specific requirements.

Title

Titles (称号) are text strings displayed below the player name on the upper screen. Along with icons, they're one of the two collection types available since the first game, when the collection feature was still called "trophy".

Icon

Icons (アイコン) are images that show on the left of the player name on the upper screen, functioning like a profile image. Along with titles, they're one of the two collection types available since the first game, when the collection feature was still called "trophy".

Big icon

Big icons (でかアイコン) are images that show on the icon's spot but are larger than normal icons, spanning the entire height of the upper screen. They were added in maimai PiNK.

Frame

Frames (フレーム) are background images for the entire upper screen. Along with name plates, they're one of the two collection types added in maimai GreeN.

Name plate

Name plates (ネームプレート) are backgrounds for the rectangular region that shows the player name. Along with frames, they're one of the two collection types added in maimai GreeN.

Sound effects

Different sound effects for SLIDE and BREAK notes can be bought with in-game currencies since maimai GreeN PLUS. Most SLIDE and BREAK sound effects form pairs.
