2012年11月25日～12月25日までと、2013年12月12日～25日までのクリスマスシーズンのみの期間限定版曲として配信されました。当初ロケテスト限定での配信を予定していましたが、ファンからの要望もあり、毎年公開されることになりました。原曲はもちろん、世界中でおなじみのクリスマスナンバーです。

楽曲アレンジを手がけているのは、おなじみのSEGA Sound Unit [H.]。各アレンジ部分をメンバーがそれぞれ担当し、一つの楽曲につなぎあわせたりミックス曲となっています。ヘヴィメタル風なアレンジからスタートするのにもドキリとさせられますが、途中オーボエを主旋律にした牧歌的なアレンジになり、またそのコミカルな間奏からガラリと雰囲気を変え、ジャズ風のアレンジへと楽曲が進むに連れどんどんとイメージが変化しているのが最大の聴きどころ。ボーカル・光吉猛修さんの歌声も、前半はお得意のハイトーンシャウト、後半はスタンダードジャズ風の遊び心ある歌い上げが魅力的。勇壮なコーラスにも注目です。またジャズ・アレンジのバックに聞こえるトランペットは、[H.]でも活躍している福山さんの演奏で、こちらも注目です。

maimaiのロケテ（ロケテスト：発売前にゲームセンターでお試し可動させること）は2011年のクリスマス時期だった。で、「やっぱりクリスマス曲とかあったら良いよね？」と話が出るんですよ。でも最終データエンドも間近なこの時期にロケテだけのために新曲作る余裕も無い。そんなことしてたら発売時期に影響が出る。なのでクリスマス曲は諦めようかなと思ってたんだけど、前にSEGA Sound Unit [H.]メンバーが遊びで作ってたジングルベルがあったことを思い出す。これはちょうど良い！

この曲はBPMだけ決めて各メンバーが好きなようにクリスマス曲をアレンジしてRemixしたというまさにmaimaiクリスマスロケテにうってつけの楽曲だ！

原曲は4分近くあったのでmaimai用に1分40秒程度に短くして更に音ゲーっぽいギミックを差し込んでいる。そんな感じでロケテ用にギリで間に合った楽曲なのだが、まさにこれが２年たっても使われるとは思って無かったw

きっと今年も[H.]のジングルベルがゲームセンターに君臨するに違いない。もうクリスマス曲はこれでいいんじゃね？
