- Lia=Fail first appeared on the PANDORA BOXXX PLUS soundtrack.
- Lia=Fail was added to maimai でらっくす UNiVERSE at launch in both Japan and Asia as a Friend Matching reward for defeating the boss friend of SSS1 class and reaching LEGEND class. It's also a "conduction song" (伝導楽曲) that can be "conducted" to other players by playing it with them in multiplayer mode.
- The "conductor" must have reached LEGEND themself to conduct the song successfully, and the song would only get conducted to the other player that plays on the same cab as the "conductor".
- From maimai でらっくす UNiVERSE PLUS, Lia=Fail is available by default.
- In the Chinese version, it was added to 舞萌DX 2022 on December 16th, 2022, and is available by default.
- Ruff, the character from Caliburne ~Story of the Legendary sword~'s maimai video, appears in Lia=Fail's video.
