RondeauX of RagnaroQ

Allos and Selepis. Despite being said to govern the pair of day and night, they are notoriously at odds with each other.
Normally, they divide the day in half and travel on horseback, so they never meet. However, they couldn't defy Lucifer's call to assemble, and the moment they faced each other, it was as if day and night were cleaving the sky.

Lucifer rebuked the two of them.
"For the sake of that young yet noble girl, join forces!"

At that command, they were reminded of a single tear shed by the girl. They joined hands temporarily only to wipe away those tears.

そんな二人を、ルシファーが一喝した。 「あの幼くも、気高き少女の為に穿て！」

その声に、思い出したのは少女の一粒の涙。彼らはそれらをはらう為だけに、一時手を取り合った。

The nobles of the demon realm.
They are beings born from powerful gods and angels who lost their divinity. Without unity, they finally joined the army under the fear and control of Lucifer.

All negative emotions.
Gathered from various dimensions, they settled in the demon realm like sediment.
To these unstable beings without even a physical form, Lucifer granted shape and power, and enlisted them in the army.

Each of them has their own desires, and it is only by receiving sufficient rewards that they obey Lucifer. That is the demon army.
Finally putting an end to the long chaos, the demons raised a war cry as they began their campaign.

魔界の貴族。 彼らは強大な力を持った神や天使が、その神性を失い生まれた者。まとまることを知らず、ルシファーの恐怖と支配によって、ようやく軍に加わった。

あらゆる負の感情。 様々な次元から集まり、魔界に澱となって降り積もったもの。 体すら持たぬ不安定な彼らに、ルシファーは形と力を与え、軍に加えた。

皆それぞれの欲があり、その上で十分な見返りを得てこそルシファーに従う。それが魔族の軍勢。 ようやく長きにわたる混沌に終止符を打ち、魔族たちは開戦の雄たけびを上げた。

Alma has been a bookworm since she was little.
When she speaks, her voice becomes timid, so she stood out in class, but her childhood friend, Rag, never made fun of Alma.
Rag, who has had strong powers since childhood and excels in academics, is always in the spotlight. However, regardless of that, Alma envied her carefree behavior.

She completely changed after that fateful event.
Standing next to the cold and tense Rag, like ice, Alma became the first Knight.

アルマは小さな頃から本の虫。 喋ると、おどおどした小さな声になってしまうので、クラスでも浮いた存在だったが、幼馴染のラグだけはアルマをバカにした事はない。 幼い頃から強い力をもち、成績優秀なラグはいつでも注目の的。しかしそんな事はお構いなしに、奔放にふるまう幼馴染を、アルマは羨ましく思っていた。

そんな彼女がすっかり変わってしまったのは、あの忌まわしい出来事があったから。 冷たく張り詰めた、氷の様なラグの傍にアルマは並び立ち、初代の騎士になった。

Alma lifted her face from the book, expecting Rag to suggest, "Let's go check it out!"
"...As expected of Alma. You understand without me even saying it?"
"They've told us not to go to the forest, right?"
While saying this, Alma half-heartedly got up.
Perhaps Rag didn't want to go home right now.
Her weak little sister had told me before how she clings to Rag at home, calling her "Big sister! Big sister!"
Rag just wanted a brief moment of freedom. That's all it was.

We didn't know. We didn't know about the small footsteps secretly following us as we left school.
We didn't know. We didn't know that the sweet yet terrifying voice of a demon, unheard of in the closed town, was lurking there.

It was lurking deep in the forest, calling out to the angels for power. To make them pitiful prey.
The two of us ran away, leaving the voice behind, but Rag's sister didn't return.
She was found in the forest, in a completely transformed state, that very night.

Under the canopy, Rag cried while clutching her tiny shoes. Since then, Alma had never seen her shed tears.

森の方で不思議な声がしたの。今まで聞いた事のない、とろけるように優しい声─── クラスメートの話し声。

アルマは「確かめに行こう！」とラグが言い出す事を予想して本から顔を上げた。 「……さっすがアルマ。言わなくても通じちゃう？」 「森、行っちゃ駄目って言われてるでしょ？」 言いながらアルマは半ばあきらめて、立ち上がった。 おそらく、ラグは今家に帰りたくないのだ。 体の弱い小さな妹が、家では「ねえさま！ ねえさま！」とラグにべったりなのだと前に話していた。 ラグは束の間の小さな自由を欲していた。それだけだったのに。

知らなかったのだ。学校から出た私達に、こっそりとついてくる小さな足跡を。 知らなかったのだ。閉ざされた街では聞く事のない悪魔の声が、あんなに甘く恐ろしい物だと。

森の奥で淀んでいたそれは、力を欲して天使に呼びかけていたのだ。哀れな食料にする為に。 二人は声を振り切って逃げたが、ラグの妹は帰らなかった。 変わり果てた姿で森で発見されたのは、その夜の事だ。

天蓋の下で、小さな靴を握りしめて泣いたラグ。それ以来、アルマは彼女の涙を一度も見ていない。

堕天した彼女の名はルシファー。明けの明星。 今や地獄の灯だ。 悪魔は天界が欲しくてたまらない。 その輝きに焦がれると同時に、けして得られない憎しみを呼び起こすからだ。 神の楽園。喜びに満ちた場所。そんな場所からルシファーが生まれるとは、何と皮肉な事だろう。

有象無象を軍勢に仕立てあげたルシファーの演説は続く。 今しばらく、この状況を楽しもうではないか。 混沌こそ我らの喜びなのだから。
