A former KONAMI composer, Harumi Ueko is best known for his jazz fusion sound, a trend that has continued into his maimai work. His only appearances in SEGA music games has, to date, only been in maimai.

Trivia

  • During his tenure at KONAMI, Harumi Ueko mostly worked on the BEMANI series Guitar Freaks & DrumMania and pop'n music. He also served as an occasional guitarist on other artists songs', notably Hideyuki Ono, who together formed the ska group 亜熱帯マジ-SKA爆弾 (Anettai Maji-SKA Bakudan). He played the saxophone, trombone, and horns.
  • Harumi and Hideyuki have also appeared together in the in the indie rhythm game nanobeat.
