【おもしろ三国志】(Omoshirosangokushi, lit. 'Amusing Annals of the Three Kingdoms')is a Japanese musician. He creates electronic music based around events in ancient Chinese history. His stage appearance is like something straight out of a movie, combining laptop operation with swordplay, battle cries, and occasionally alcohol and meat.

In 2010 Omoshirosangokushi performed at Japan's largest music festival, Summer Sonic.

Trivia

  • おもしろ三国志 uses the first person pronoun chin (朕), which was normally only used by emperors in the Sinosphere to refer to themselves.
  • The name おもしろ三国志 was decided arbitrarily in 1999 when he attended a rave which required a stage name; at first, his music wasn't Three Kingdoms-themed, and was just normal techno.
  • おもしろ三国志's favorite character in the history of Three Kingdoms is Dong Zhuo (董卓, pronounced Tou Taku in Japanese)

  • おもしろ三国志 also contributed in UNLIMITED STUDiO's SEVEN'S CODE, and BEMANI's DANCERUSH STARDOM.
