* At first, the update announcement (posted on July 5th) included [[Maiodore! maimai time|マイオドレ！舞舞タイム]] and [[maimai DX:Splash/Areas#そらみこちほー|そらみこちほー]]. Someone filed a complaint to Wahlap, the Chinese company responsible for operating the game, for their inclusion, and a second update announcement, posted on July 12th, removed them. Hololive is considered "anti-China" after [https://qz.com/1911573/virtual-youtubers-suspended-after-calling-taiwan-a-country/ two of its YouTubers mentioned Taiwan as a country in a livestream].

== Changes ==

* Added the "Timing adjustment B" feature from {{Game name|maisplash}}.

** No other new options in DX+ or Splash are added.

* [[BATTLE NO.1]] is moved to the DX 2021 version folder, and counts as a new song in rating calculation. Other songs added on [[maimai DX:1st (China)#20201224|December 24th, 2020]] still counts as DX 1st songs.

* All charts achievement name plates (神, 将, 極, 舞舞) restored, as in {{Game name|maidx+}} in Japan/Asia.
